Cheetos Brings Back Early 2000s Throwback Flavor For First Time In 20 Years

Cheetos is taking customers back to the early 2000s with an exciting new announcement.

According to All Recipes, the brand's beloved pizza flavor is back, and it's here to stay. Pizza Cheetos have not been produced or distributed since 2005 and will be welcomed into the 2020s with open arms by Gen Zs, Millennials, Gen Xs and baby boomers who could not get enough of their delicious flavor 20 years ago. Now, for the first time ever, Gen Alpha snackers can enjoy the same orange-dusted treat that's been around for years, but with next-level, out-of-this-generation flavor.

The fan-favorite will join an already tempting array of Cheetos flavors including buffalo wing and cheesy jalapeño popper, just in time for rapidly-approaching and highly-anticipated Super Bowl Sunday celebrations on February 9th.

The best part?

Unlike low rise jeans and platform flip flops, Pizza Cheetos never actually went out of style. In fact, they are officially here for good and will be the brand's first permanent flavor "in more than a decade."

The delicious, previously-retired flavor is currently available in stores nationwide and can also be purchased online via snacks.com.

All Recipes mentioned that Cheetos is not entirely finished teasing the new release, as customers can likely expect more Pizza-themed products to roll out in the coming weeks.

Are you ready for the dangerously cheesy throwback to join Cheetos' permanent lineup?
