Chloë Grace Moretz came out as gay in an Instagram post endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday (November 1), revealing that she voted early and that everyone should create their own voting plan leading up to Election Day.

"I voted early and I voted for Kamala Harris. There is so much on the line this election. I believe the government has no right over my body as a woman, and that the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor."

She continued, sharing new details about her sexuality while encouraging followers to get out and vote.

"Kamala Harris will protect that for us. I believe in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman. We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve. SO… Are you voting early? Let’s get a plan together to get to your polling place with your friends!"

The actress posted a photo of an "I voted early 2024" sticker to her leg beside the lengthy caption.

While this is the first time Moretz has personally confirmed her sexuality, TMZ noted that the news is not a total shock as the 27-year-old star as been "romantically linked to model Kate Harrison for years," and attended a gay women's march in early 2024.
