Coldplay was joined by a number of surprise guests during their Glastonbury Festival set over the weekend, but one was particularly special: Michael J. Fox.

The iconic actor came out midway through “Humankind.” Frontman Chris Martin first serenaded Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis then turned his focus to “another legendary Michael.” He went on to describe the Back to the Future star as the “one who just totally rocks, with his Chuck Berry riff and the way he punched Biff… Ladies and gentleman, please welcome Michael J.Fox!”

Fox, who's been battling Parkinson's Disease since 1991, took the stage in a wheelchair and played guitar alongside the rest of the band for the rest of that song and "Fix Young."

“The main reason we’re in a band is because of Back to the Future,” Martin said after the performance. “So thank you to Michael, our hero.”

Fox later took to Instagram to share some photos from the "f***ing mind blowing" experience.

"Glastonbury all the love and thanks to the @coldplay team who took such great care of us," he captioned the post. "And many thanks to Chris, Will, Johnny, Guy and Phil. Oh yeah in case you were wondering…it was f*cking mind blowing. There is a time for every band and a band for every time. This is @coldplay’s time."

Their set also featured guest appearances from Little Simz, Femi Kuti, Laura Mvula, and a video projection of BTS. Coldplay recently detailed their 10th album, Moon Music, which is slated for an October 4 release, and shared its lead single "feelslikeimfallinginlove."
