Jon Bon Jovi recently broke his silence on son Jake Bongiovi and Millie Bobby Brown's "secret" wedding ceremony that took place earlier this month.
The 62-year-old rock legend sat down with BBC's The One Show on Tuesday (May 28) to give a glowing review of the special family event, and his new daughter-in-law.
"They’re great, they’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small, family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be."
The "Livin' on a Prayer" standout concluded by referring to his son's love match as "true." Despite already tying the knot during an intimate ceremony surrounded by loved ones, Bongiovi, 22, and Brown, 20, plan to continue their celebrations stateside later this year, a source told the US Sun last Friday (May 24).
“They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year but now they have legally married and done all the paperwork. It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows.” The lovebirds were seen enjoying precious moments together in the Hamptons with their wedding bands on display the same day that news of their secret ceremony surfaced.
Page Six noted that the couple were first spotted together in June of 2021, and confirmed their relationship via Instagram in November that year. The newlyweds remained inseparable through travel, career endeavors, and more, and are now officially husband and wife!
Congratulations Millie and Jake!
