You've gotta go pretty deep with those covid test swabs, but not THIS deep.

A 31-year-old mom in the U.K. named Bobby Lee recently had to have emergency surgery after she SWALLOWED one of those six-inch-long Q-Tip things.

She decided to swab her throat instead of her nose, which the FDA and Mayo Clinic have cautioned people against. And when she gagged, it got stuck.

It went halfway down her throat, and the end was still poking up into the roof of her mouth. But she couldn't pull it out . . . and ended up swallowing it . . . then immediately drove herself to the E.R.

By the time she saw a doctor, the swab was in her stomach and getting close to her intestines. So if it went any further, it could have punctured them. But they'd never seen a case like that, so they weren't sure what to do.

They eventually decided to put a tiny camera down her throat . . . and ended up pulling the swab out.

Luckily, she's okay and can laugh about it now. No word on if she tested positive for covid or not.
