A pickup truck driver headed to California from Mexico on February 25th was pulled over at the San Ysidro border and was searched by border agents.
While they may have been looking for contraband, they probably weren’t expecting to find 52 snakes and lizards in bags hidden in “the man’s jacket, pants pockets, and groin area.”
The man was arrested and the reptiles, some of them endangered, were confiscated, but the most important question remains unanswered; did he have snakes or horned lizards hidden in his “groin area?”
The world may never know.
