In the UK village of Staverton, stories are rampant about a six-foot-tall “man-goat” haunting the place.
The sighting happened at two in the morning, when a carload of people saw “a large figure looming over them in the darkness.” Exhilarated, scared, and confused, they turned to the Internet for help (because of course). On a local online forum, they described what they saw as “the height of a person, with short and powerful legs that moved in a circular fashion” and “it wasn’t a deer because it stood on two legs” and looked like a “man-goat.” (???)
So far, guesses from the peanut gallery include a bear, a wallaby, and “some cryptid from the depths of our imagination.”
