This is just all kinds of messed up.
A man from China has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison after he stole $24k from his girlfriend by using her fingerprint and lifting her eyelids open to unlock her cellphone while she was asleep.
The next morning, she saw the transactions on her bank app and called the police, but the man had already fled the city. Police found and arrested him in April of this year. In addition to a stay in prison, he was fined over $3k; he stole the money to pay off gambling debts.
Oh, and yes she broke up with him.
