Police in Plymouth, New Hampshire believe they’ve cracked the case of what happened to the speed-tracking sign on Highland Street.
They say they were made aware on Thursday that the sign was displaying different messages than the ones programmed; if someone was driving too fast it said “Naughty,” while those driving at or below the speed limit saw the word “Nice.”
The department says that detectives investigated and said the sign was a cyberattack victim, and a search warrant showed that the hacker’s IP address was the North Pole.
