Everyone jokes about the zombie apocalypse, but 37-year-old Morgan Rogue is preparing for it.
The mother-of-two has moved her family off-grid in Alaska to get ready for any disaster that may happen. Their home runs on generators and solar power, and she says the family has enough canned goods to last six months.
She and her husband are also avid hunters and are currently digging a well for fresh water. Rogue’s goal is to be at least 50% self-sufficient within the next five years.
Morgan says she started prepping because “the power went out one day” and she didn’t know what she would do to charge her phone.
