It usually takes a few days for all the Halloween criminal stories to start rolling. Here's one out of Texas that's insane . . .
A 35-year-old woman named Monica Bradford lives near Austin, and apparently doesn't like the whole trick-or-treating thing. (She lives in the small town of Buda, Texas, about 15 miles outside Austin.)
A neighbor says cops got called to her house last year for some sort of issue. But this year she's really in trouble . . . after pulling a gun on a SEVEN-YEAR-OLD.
She had her porch light on, so people assumed she was giving out candy. But she started yelling at a bunch of kids who were at the end of her driveway.
At least one adult was with them, and it sounds like they were just random trick-or-treaters. But Monica asked a neighbor if they knew them, and the neighbor said no.
So she walked inside . . . came back out with a loaded SHOTGUN . . . and pointed it at a seven-year-old child.
Luckily no shots were fired, and no one got hurt. Cops shut down the entire street and arrested Monica. She's facing charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. (KTBC / Law & Crime)(Here's her mugshot.) Image © 2021 Getty Images
