Have you heard the term "Tall Zoom Energy" yet? Slate.com just did a story on it, and it's like "tall PERSON energy," but more specific.
"Tall person energy" describes someone who's short but SEEMS tall in pictures and videos on social media. In other words, confident with a big personality. "Tall Zoom Energy" is the same thing, but on Zoom and more of a workplace thing.
A lot of people who've been hired during the pandemic are just meeting their coworkers face-to-face for the first time. And sometimes, people are shocked when a person isn't as tall as they thought. A lot of employees on the receiving end think it's flattering. Others say it's more of a backhanded compliment.
