You do NOT want to mess with old people when they're in one of their pre-nap, "get off my lawn" moods . . . and here's another example of that.

A 90-year-old man in Florida named Thomas Conrad got all worked up last Saturday, when he thought his neighbor's gardener was stepping onto his lawn. So, he started hassling him about it.

It must have been loud, because the neighbor, 46-year-old Jack Henson, came outside and told Thomas to cool it. They started arguing, and Thomas hurled some profanities and threatened to punch Jack in the face.

Jack said to go ahead, and if he did, he'd call the cops . . . and that's exactly what happened. Thomas punched him TWICE in the face, and Jack called the police. When they arrived, Thomas tried to use the "he TOLD me to do it" excuse.

The cops arrested him for misdemeanor battery, and tacked on a charge for resisting arrest, because Thomas was also trying to kick THEM off his property. He's out of jail on a $2,000 bond.
