In 2015, Joe Fletcher was called “one of Akron Ohio’s most dangerous individuals” before being arrested and sentenced to jail.
Taking pity on him, a judge granted Fletcher a temporary release from prison to attend his daughter’s funeral …but there were no guards or GPS monitoring ordered for his release as the prosecution asked …instead, he was released into the custody of his mother, and you can probably guess what happened next.
The United States Marshals Service is now offering a reward of up to $5k for information leading to his arrest because once he was released, he vanished, failing to return to the jail by his deadline of 7pm Wednesday.
Authorities are warning Fletcher should be considered armed and dangerous.
