Emergency crews responded to reports of a submerged vehicle in Yakima, Washington on Tuesday and found that there was, in fact, an SUV in the water with the owner present.
The man apparently told the officers not to worry because he had driven the vehicle into the water on purpose.
Why?
The man allegedly told deputies that he had changed the thermostat on the SUV and drove it into the water because he ‘needed to fill the radiator with water.”
The car was towed out, and no word of any charges being filed.
