When you’re eating out, there are forgivable mistakes…and then there’s this.
Jollibee is a Filipino fried chicken joint. In the mood to enjoy a taste of it, Alique Perez put in an order for a delivery. Things went south, however, when one piece of the meal couldn’t be bitten into…or even cut with a knife.
It turned out, someone in their kitchen somehow dropped a towel into the batter, and then deep fried it!
After Perez’s social media post went viral, Jollibee made the decision to close that store for three days to “review compliance and procedures” and “retrain their staff.”
