. Dutchess County Pride Center is bringing pride back to Dutchess County for 2021, in support of the LGBTQ community. Pride Month starts with a Pride Kickoff on June 4th, at Dutchess County Pride Center’s new location in Hopewell Junction. Other events include a Rainbow Prom for all LGBTQ+ High School students and allies on June 5th, Drag Bingo on June 6, a Youth Pride Roller Skating event on June 13 and many more in person and virtual events throughout the month. The PKGO Pride Parade will roll down Main Street, Poughkeepsie on June 12th. Lea DeLaria, the actress, comedian and singer best known for her role on the Netflix series, Orange is the New Black, is our Grand Marshal. Ms. DeLaria be at a ticketed Meet and Greet event at Revel 32 on June 11, which has a limited number of free tickets for educators and first responders.
