FISHKILL – A five-alarm fire at the Village at Merritt Park apartments in the Village of Fishkill Sunday night brought out fire departments from several area departments.
State and Village of Fishkill Police were also at the scene assisting at what police said were several fires.
Residents were quickly moved to safety with no injuries reported and the Red Cross responded to aid displaced residents and provide disaster relief.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Anyone with information about it is asked to call State Police at 845-677-7300.
