“The restaurant industry really got hit hard by COVID, so when we started to make these phone calls to see if there was any interest, the way that they signed up right away offering 10 percent, multiple days, it really was incredible and it demonstrates the heart of the Hudson Valley in supporting children in our community,” she said.
The designated week is held in April, which is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The array of participating businesses includes French Macarons from Amanda’s Macaron Shoppe which is offering a 10 percent discount all week to Jason Patrick’s on 44. The discounts and dates vary from business to business, and some require the patron to mention the CPCA to receive the discounts.
A complete list of participants, discounts, and dates can be found on the CPCA website.
