Over in Massachusetts, when 38-year-old Melissa Surgecoff woke up with severe cramps last month - she wasn't sure what to think. At first, she thought it was the monthly cramps, but as the pain grew, she realized it was something more, and decided it was a kidney stone. She asked her fiancé to call 911 as she went into the bathroom, sat on the toilet… and GAVE BIRTH.
But it gets worse. Usually, once a mother has given birth it removes any confusion she has about being pregnant, but not Melissa. Looking into the toilet, she believed she'd passed an organ. Then, when fiancé Donnie Campbell came in...he thought the toilet was filled with poop! Campbell says he quickly realized, “There’s a baby in the toilet.”
So how did Melissa not "know" she was preggers? She says she chalked up the signs of her pregnancy (like swollen feet) to pandemic weight gain. The great news? Baby Liam is happy and healthy, though his mom says he’s most likely their “first and last child.”
What a crappy way to come into the world! Ba-dum-boom hey!!!
