Who would've ever guessed that the best way to get away with a crime would be to dress like a hack comic at a Chuckle Hut open mic night in 1985?
A guy in his 20s robbed a bank in Germany on Tuesday. He pulled out a gun, demanded money, and took off with a bag of cash.
But when the cops asked the bank staff and the witnesses to describe the guy, they couldn't . . . because they were too distracted by his colorful, '80s-style tie.
The police say, quote, "He did it very cleverly. Everyone focused on the ugly tie and didn't pay attention to his face."
So the robber is still out there . . . and the police don't have any leads.
