More people eligible for vaccine

ALBANY – New Yorkers 60 and older can be vaccinated beginning today, March 10, the governor has announced. Pharmacies can vaccinate 60-plus and teachers per federal guidance starting today.
Government employees, nonprofit workers and essential building service workers will be eligible for vaccination starting March 17. They include employees providing necessary services like the YWCA, the governor noted.
New Yorkers can make appointments at state-fun vaccination sites by using the state’s “Am I Eligible” tool or calling 1-833-NYS-4-VAX.
