Chris Quaranto nominated Staci Wagner from Lagrange Middle School. She's a teacher that goes above and beyond for the students. Here is the email we received from Chris:
"Mrs. Staci Wagner is the epitome of what it means to be an Arlington Admiral. Not only has she served students in the classroom delivering high quality instruction for many years, but she has also been the anchor for so many families of LaGrange Middle School. Mrs. Wagner is one of the first to arrive in the morning to ensure that she is ready for whatever the day may bring. As a special education teacher, Mrs. Wagner has implemented countless strategies to create an inclusive learning environment for all students. Most recently, Mrs. Wager inspired and developed a “sensory walk” in our building with her own students. The walk provides a safe space for children to release stress and refocus. After realizing the many needs of our LMS families, Mrs. Wagner established and continues to maintain a food pantry providing non-perishable goods each week. She has secured support from the community to ensure that we have adequate funding and inventory on hand to provide for those in need through the 2020-2021 school year. All of Ms. Wagner’s heartfelt efforts have made a great difference and benefitted the lives of many, especially during these unprecedented times. We at LaGrange Middle School would like to thank Mrs. Wagner for going above and beyond the call of duty to serve the LaGrange Middle School community"
