MID-HUDSON – Roads are clear, for the most part, after this week’s storm dumped up to two feet of snow.
Municipalities remind residents to dig out fire hydrants and not to shovel snow from driveways into streets.
Some things may change over time, but the ‘snow wall’ down the center of Broadway in the City of Newburgh has been around for decades. The remnants of the current snowstorm are no exception as the longest, widest main street in the country once again has the great white wall as crews continue the storm cleanup.
