A former resident of North Braddock, Pennsylvania is spreading holiday cheer to everyone in his hometown. Jim Zockoll sent $30 Giant Eagle grocery store gift cards to each resident there with a heartwarming note.
The card read: “Happy Holidays. North Braddock residents, in loving memory of our mother, Margaret (O’Toole) Zockoll who once lived at 810 Spring Street, North Braddock. Jim and Fred Zockoll.”
These days Jim is busy running a multi-million dollar company in London, but he hasn’t forgotten where he came from and the locals were happy to get the holiday surprise. LeeAnn Nyugen says, “It did make me teary because who would take time out to send just a random person a gift card?”
Jim, you sure you never lived here in the Hudson Valley at some point?
