Police investigate car-pedestrian accident

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – Police are investigating an incident said to involve a vehicle and pedestrian on Route 300 in the Town of Newburgh.

Around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, the Winona Lake Fire Department was dispatched to a call of a pedestrian being struck and possibly pinned by a vehicle at Restaurant Depot.

Mobile Life Support Services and Town of Newburgh and State Police were called to the scene.

A male victim was located and reported to have been pronounced dead.
