Uptown Kingston intersection reconfigurations under review

KINGSTON – A number of intersections will be reconfigured in the City of Kingston.
The effort is part of the state-funded Downtown Revitalization, said Mayor Steven Noble.
“We are completely re-envisioning Schwenk Drive as well as the intersection of Albany Avenue and Clinton Avenue, and Clinton Avenue and Main Street and Westbrook Lane, all jampacked intersections, and so we are looking to refresh those intersections, improve those intersections, create some important safety mechanisms at those intersections,” he said.
The plan for those reconfigurations will be discussed during a live Facebook presentation at 12 noon on Thursday (tomorrow).
