A Cop May Lose His Job After Swapping Price Stickers On Box Of Donuts

A police officer in England finds himself in hot water after he was accused of trying to buy a box of 12 Krispy Kreme donuts for less money by sticking a cheaper barcode on them.

Simon Read, from Cambridgeshire Police, is alleged to have switched the price for the sweet treats at a local supermarket.

Officials say this is a breach of professional standards and it's "so serious that dismissal would be justified."

Read is accused of acting dishonestly and without integrity. He now has to face a misconduct hearing to determine his future.
