KINGSTON – Positive cases of the coronavirus have been increasing steadily in Ulster County in October and into November, Ulster County Executive Patrick Ryan said Thursday.
Ryan said the increasing statistics do not bode well for what may be in store for the county, region, state and nation.
“At the end of the day its clear now looking at the data, we are at the beginning of second wave of COVID in Ulster County,” he said.
The number of hospitalized residents has not been this high since May, he said.
Ryan reemphasized the need to social distance, wear masks and wash hands often with soap and water or hand sanitizer.
