Focus zone positivity remains high

ALBANY – The rates of COVID-19 positivity of people tested in focus zone areas of Rockland and Orange counties on Saturday were up compared to the day before, according to the latest statistics from the state.
The Rockland red-zone focus area percent of positive cases on Saturday was 4.20 percent. On Friday, the rate was 6.44 percent. The seven-day rolling average was 4.08 percent.
In Orange County, the orange-zone focus area percent of positive cases on Saturday was 3.75 percent. On Friday, the rate was 2.95 percent. The seven-day rolling average was 2.43 percent.
