ALBANY – Orange County’s COVID-19 red-zones including the greater Monroe-Palm Tree area and Newburgh, had a 14.38 percent positive rate reported to the state on Monday.
The statewide positive rate with the red zones was 1.40 percent; without the red zones it was 1.28 percent.
Local authorities have been instructed to enforce appropriate coronavirus protocols including social distancing, wearing of face masks, and washing hands often.
