Lagrange man charged with first-degree robbery

LAGRANGE – State Police have arrested a Lagrange man on a felony charge of Robbery in the first degree after he allegedly threatened the use of a gun, which was not displayed, at the Tops Market in Lagrange.

Zackary Beck, 30, of LaGrange fled on foot after getting $2,500 from a store clerk.

He was apprehended by the State Police at his residence. A search warrant executed at his residence led to the recovery of the stolen money.

Beck was arraigned before the town of Lagrange Court, and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secure bond.
