NEWBURGH – The New York State Police Child Abuse Unit in Orange County has arrested Luis Aguilar Guerra, 24, of City of Newburgh. The arrest was a result of a joint investigation with Child Protective Services regarding allegations that Guerra engaged in sexual conduct with a child under the age of 13.
Guerra was charged with predatory sexual assault against a child and criminal sex act, both as felonies.
Aguilar Guerrawas arraigned by City of Newburgh Judge Peter Kulkin and remanded to Orange County Jail without bail.
