Dutchess Business Notification Network:Information Update For 9/21/20

·Dutchess County has made $430,000 in grants available to assist microenterprise businesses negatively affected by COVID-19, through a program administered by Community Capital New York (CCNY). For more information click HERE.

·The U.S. Department of Labor has released new guidelines regarding the Families First Coronavirus Response Act following a ruling from a federal judge. The guidelines specifically clarifies what is considered intermittent leave in regards to school closures. You can find a copy of the new guidelines HERE.

·There are now a total of 30 states and U.S. jurisdictions impacted by the travel advisory. Individuals coming into New York, New Jersey and Connecticut from these areas must quarantine for 14 days under Executive Order 205 (the Order) and the Department of Health issued Interim Guidance for Quarantine Restrictions on Travelers Arriving in New York State Following Out of State Travel (the Guidance). 

·What states are currently impacted? As of September 15, there are 28 states and two territories impacted. They are the following:
