Pub Adds “Cuomo Chips” To Menu To Side Step Coronavirus Guidelines

Last week New York governor Andrew Cuomo updated the state’s coronavirus guidelines that now state restaurant patrons must order food if they want to order alcohol, and one pub has found a unique way to get around that.

Matthew Bagley, the owner of Harvey's Restaurant and Bar in Saratoga Springs, decided to add $1 Cuomo Chips to the menu.

But chips alone won't work, since the state Liquor Authority says chips nuts and crackers don’t count, but if they add salsa or a dip it would, so he did.

They also added a $1 flat bread to the menu, and plan to start serving pretzel bites as well.
