Do You Wash or Masks or Just Toss Them?

Your mask is dirty, you toss it in the laundry, right? Right?!! Nope....there are some 'how too's' to be aware of when washing your mask. Not your paper masks, which would probably fall apart during one cycle.....(I'm thinking like a washed diaper, NO? Ew, right?)....but the cloth masks, the ones that can be washed an reused.

Please note, there isn't any research I'm basing on, I feel it's just common sense and a story I saw on-line that points out a few things: wash separate from dirty cloths to avoid contamination ~ make sure it dries completely....it's recommended to dry in the sun, rather than in the dryer, which will make the durability last longer ~ if it's warn 8 - 12 hours a day, PLEASE use a fresh one the next day, etc. Here's the story -> https://www.aol.com/article/lifestyle/2020/07/11/how-to-clean-your-mask-according-to-experts/24554584/

I always keep a box of fresh paper ones close by!

Stay safe, take care of yourself and each other!
