State Police discover car and body in Hudson River

POUGHKEEPSIE –New York State Police are investigating the discovery of a vehicle with human remains in the Hudson River near Waryas Park in the City of Poughkeepsie.

State Police divers located the car earlier this morning and it was later pulled from the river, placed on a flatbed truck to be removed for forensic investigation.

Sources have told Mid Hudson News that the body may be the remains of an individual reported missing in 2008. The City of Poughkeepsie police
