POUGHKEEPSIE – The weekend violence that left one teenager dead and three other people wounded in two separate shooting incidents has Poughkeepsie Mayor Rob Rolison concerned and upset.

The mayor said the city is pulling out all stops to find those responsible for the violence.

“Rest assured we will not stop until we bring these individuals to justice and the public needs to know that our police department is doing everything that it can to keep this city safe,” he said.

The mayor said other area police agencies are assisting Poughkeepsie in the investigation into those crimes.
