·The postponed New York State sales tax filing deadline is coming up on Monday, June 22. This is the sales tax deadline that was initially rescheduled in March.

·In order to apply for funds through the Paycheck Protection Program, the bank must submit the loan application to the SBA no later than June 30th. If you wish to apply for this program, you must apply well in advance of this deadline. For a list of local lenders click HERE.

·The Mid-Hudson region is on track to enter phase 3 of reopening on next Tuesday, June 23. Phase 3 includes guidelines for food services and non-hair-related personal care businesses and services, including tattoo and piercing facilities, appearance enhancement practitioners, massage therapy, spas, cosmetology, nail specialty, UV and non-UV tanning, or waxing. Phase 3 also allows for gatherings of up to 25 people. Some additional sport and recreation can begin on July 6, following guidelines found HERE. If you are an employer included in phase 3, you must take the following steps:

1.Go to the NY Forward website HERE

2.Click on “Phase Three Guidance.”

3.Select your industry by scrolling down on the left side navigation bar.

4.Click on and read “View Summary Guidelines” for your industry.

5.Click on and read “Read and Affirm the Detailed Guidelines” for your industry, and then click the link at the bottom of the page orHEREto complete the form and hit submit.

6.Click on “Print Business Safety Plan Template” for your industry, and then print and fill out the template, and keep on file at your place of business.
