Ulster County launches COVID-19 Recovery Service Center

KINGSTON – Ulster County Executive Patrick Ryan calls his Recovery Services Center “one-stop shopping” for answers and assistance in combating all facets of COVID-19 and its effects and impacts.
The new effort expands on the county’s COVID-19 hotline – 845-443-8888, that is available to answer questions about the deadly virus.
Ryan is concerned with the disease and its impacts going forward.
“I am concerned not only about a potential reemergence of COVID, but the economic impacts of this as I talk to families across our county has already been devastating. We know the unemployment numbers are well into the double-digits now. We know how many people have been effected and how much pressure is being put on the shoulders of families and working folks across our county,” he said.
The Ulster County Recovery Service Center will provide food assistance, housing assistance, mental health support, employment assistance, business assistance and COVID-19 assistance.
The new hotline continues at 845-443-8888 and information is available at www.corvid19.ulstercountyny.gov. Questions may be sent to the service center email address at rsc@co.ulster.ny.us.
