Dutchess County Business Updates For June 12, 2020

June 24 at 5PM: A webinar will be held to discuss the changes to the Paycheck Protection Program by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce. There will also be a networking portion during this webinar. For more information or to register for the event click HERE.

•·New guidance has been released by the state on what businesses are considered essential. Added to the list is chiropractic services and acupuncture, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. You can find the guidance HERE.

·The Centers for Disease Control has released guidance for veterinarians treating companion animals during COVID-19. That guidance can be found HERE.

·The CDC has also released guidance on large community gatherings and events. That guidance can be found HERE.

·In today's (Friday) press conference, Governor Andrew Cuomo would not say if sleep-away summer camps would be able to open this year. He said the state has not made a decision if it was safe due to the COVID-19 related illness that effects children. Day camps are allowed to reopen starting June 29.

2.Click on “Phase Two Guidance.”

3.Select your industry by scrolling down on the left side navigation bar.

4.Click on and read “View Summary Guidelines” for your industry.

5.Click on and read “Read and Affirm the Detailed Guidelines” for your industry, and then click the link at the bottom of the page or HERE to complete the form and hit submit.

6.Click on “Print Business Safety Plan Template” for your industry, and then print and fill out the template, and keep on file at your place of business.
