Today We Celebrate Corn on the Cob!

Today we celebrate corn on the cob. The vegetable that sits in a big bin when you go to the supermarket, you can get 12 for $2.00, but you have to do the work. Some shuck the corn in the store, most bring it home. Some boil it in a pot of water with milk and/or salt....or just boil it with water only.

I'm a HUUUUUGE fan of corn on the cob. I put butter on it and hot sauce, yummmmy! Sometimes I carve it off the cob into the bowl....I guess it depends on my mode to do the work!

You can grill it with amazing sauces and toppings....to die for!

Corn on the cob first domesticated by those in southern Mexico thousands of years ago, now produced around the world more than wheat or rice. Not a lot of calories and is high in fiber!
