POUGHKEEPSIE – Phase two of reopening the Mid-Hudson economy includes dining at outside facilities and Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro is going to sign an executive order making that easier for restaurateurs.
That outside dining will begin on Tuesday as part of phase two reopening, said the county executive.
“We envision that restaurants will be able to convert parking space, sidewalk space, even shared courtyard space and maybe in certain municipalities the closure of certain roads to accommodate outside dining,” said.
Molinaro said those new outside facilities will require tables being six feet apart and staff must wear face masks at all times.
