HUDSON VALLEY – The phase one re-opening of the Hudson Valley’s economy starts today with COVID-19 warnings from local health officials to continue practicing public health safety.
Phase one includes construction; manufacturing and wholesale supply chain; retail for curbside pickup and drop-off or in-store pickup; agriculture, forestry, and fishing.
People are reminded to continue wearing face coverings while in public, staying at least six feet from others and washing hands with soap and water or using hand sanitizer.
Wearing gloves in public is optional.
The health officials remind everyone that the virus is still out there, but through staying at home, practicing social distancing, and wearing face coverings the rate of infection has been reduced.
