Lights Out on Broadway....At Least Until Labor Day

Broadway Season Closes With Record Attendance And Sales Numbers

It's just so mind blowing at times that Broadway has been 'dark' ... actually two months ago today, the 41 theaters that make up the amazing, historical, magical and spectacular sites and sounds of Broadway in NYC, had their last performances due to the Corona virus pandemic, that hit our nation, our world!

I did learn that if you purchased tickets for any show between the closure and September 7th, you can request a refund from the original point of sale.

I was lucky enough to go to Broadway as a young girl. My first Broadway show was 'Annie'! My sister and I sat silent enjoying the wonder of it all. Fast forward almost 40-something years and I was planning on taking my sister's youngest to see 'West Side Story'. We were days away from figuring out what day in May would be best for the both of us.

Hang in there Broadway, all of you that are a part of this amazing display of talent, wonder, make believe and reality! We'll see you someday soon!
