POUGHKEEPSIE – A bear cub, first sighted overnight near Mansion Square Park in the City of Poughkeepsie was located this morning in a backyard between Thompson and Mansion Street.
The nervous fellow climbed up a tree as city police and a state environmental conservation officer arrived on the scene.
A wildlife specialist was called in with plans to tranquilize the little “Yogi” and return it to the wild.
