Hudson Valley COVID-19 deaths over 1,300

HUDSON VALLEY – The death toll from COVID-19 in the Hudson Valley has now reached 1,307, according to the latest report from the state health department.
A total of 668 people have succumbed to the virus in Westchester County with 244 living in a nursing home or assisted living.
In Rockland County, 319 people died with 47 in nursing homes or assisted living.
Orange County reported 204 deaths with 72 in nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
In Dutchess County, 40 people have died with 11 in nursing homes or assisted living.
Putnam County reported 32 deaths with 10 in nursing homes or assisted living.
In Ulster County, 15 people have died; two in nursing homes or assisted living.
Columbia County reported 12 deaths with seven in nursing homes or assisted living.
In Sullivan County, seven people have died with two in nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
There have been no COVID-19-related deaths reported in Greene County.
