Generally speaking across the country as more and more parks become crowded with people looking for a little fresh air and some exercise while on coronavirus lockdown, many are looking for an alternate place to getaway. In fact, many are now turning to graveyards as a place to hang out.
For example down in Brooklyn, a woman and her husband checked out Prospect Park, but the sight of so many other people had them worried about spreading the disease so they chose to instead, to head to a local cemetery for some fresh air.
While many cemeteries remain open, some have decided to close their gates to the living. The good news is that these places are often on vast acres of land and make it easy to keep social distancing easier while outside.
Thankfully from what I’ve seen it hasn’t been an issue here in the Hudson Valley as it has been in more densely populated areas of our state.
