Annie & Ryan, from the morning show, had Andrea Cefarelli Senior Executive Director of Requirement and Marketing for NY Blood Center on their show.
They, Annie, Ryan and Andrea, talked about the change in how blood drives are going due to the COVID-19 & how important they still are for cancer patients.
Blood drives that usually happened at fire houses, schools and colleges have been cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Since that has happened the NY Blood Center is operating at their 19 donor centers in through out NY. Doing this has changed it to an appointment only schedule, they will also be pre-screening their own staff and donors.
