I was privileged to meet Ambassador of Americana, Charles Phoenix, backstage last December when Charlotte, Aubrey, Mary and I went down to New York City to enjoy his Holiday Show. What a truly charming, funny, creative and gracious man he is. It's fun to watch his many videos available on YouTube--really brings mid-century Americana to life, a treat for those of us who lived then, and a very enjoyable history lesson for those who have only heard about it.
